Too Many Bananas? Create a Frozen Treat!

Every once in a while extra bananas are in my kitchen, too soft for the kids to be willing to eat.  I peel them and freeze then, usually for banana bread.  That may all change now that we discovered how to make ice cream with frozen bananas.

 

This could not be simpler!

Ingredients

3-4 frozen bananas

1 tablespoon sugar

Milk (1/2-1cup) measurement depends on the consistency you want

Optional: cocoa powder (if you want to make chocolate banana ice cream like we did)



Recipe

1.        Add all ingredients to a blender

2.       Blend, stirring and shifting bananas frequently to get big piece to the bottom to blend until smooth

3.       That’s it!!

My kids are ice cream lovers and they really enjoyed this recipe, even tried to ask for 2nds!! Yeah for frozen bananas!
