This park has a quaint and small-town feel. The perfect place for a shorter playground trip! It is located across from the Red Hill Borough offices. Suitable for a variety of ages, with a rock climbing feature, basket ball court, picnic pavilions, grills and clean restrooms at the Borough Office! Rita’s Water Ice isn’t too far in neighboring Pennsburg for a yummy afternoon treat! Bonus: Right down the street is the local VFW where a big army tank is on display!

Enjoy a perfect, relaxing atmosphere while your children play. Home to the famous Green Lane Reservoir and acres of plentiful wildlife, this play area is perfect for all ages! For children there are not one but two playgrounds! The first is what my kids call the “Pirate Playground.” It is your average playground with swings, monkey bars and slides. One end of of the jungle gym is designed into a Pirate Ship! It also has a little nook to play Ice Cream/Snack stand. Take a walk across the bridge over the reservoir, enjoy the geese, ducks, fish and turtles to the second play ground. The “Log Cabin Fort Playground” is on the opposite side of the park. A swinging bridge, fort hideouts and swings will keep your kids giggling all day. Biking trails, walking trails, amphitheater, picnic areas and more are all available for use at Green Lane Park!

Nestled in the beautiful Harleysville and Telford neighborhoods is this little gem. Basketball courts and a baseball diamond surround this sweet play area. You will remember it as that playground staple many of us grew up with as kids that sent us into a dizzying euphoria! Yep, that cute vintage play item looks adorable paired with the newer equipment at this park. Climbing pods, leap pads, swings, and slides are all waiting to be enjoyed at this playground! Don’t miss the play truck built just for climbing and imaginary play!

Located right off of the Telford exit on 309, next to the Indian Valley Library is this fantastic park. Sit and spinner, multiple slides, rock climbers, rope climbing, bridge bouncers, tire swings, basketball court, baseball diamond and pavilions are all fun features here! With the Indian Valley Library right next door, have your kiddos burn some energy off at the park and then take them over to the library to enjoy some book time!

Looking for a park where there are playgrounds designed for different age groups? This park has one play area for toddlers and one for older children. The toddlers area has a nice sensory  piano feature built into the jungle gym. The older kids have rock climbing, pole sliding and monkey bars! There is a volleyball court, basketball court, pavilion, restrooms and a stretching area. Top it off by a beautiful gazebo for relaxing and enjoying the warm breeze. If parents need a re-charge, Dunkin Donuts and Wawa are right up the street.

Coming in second only to Doylestown’s “Kids Castle,” this large wooden playground is one of the biggest in the area. Let your kids explore all the nooks and crannies of this wooden wonderland. Sand area, tire swings, swinging bridge, tennis courts, basket ball courts, baseball diamond and more are all available at this park. There is a nice quiet creek that runs along the pavilions that make for a quiet nature walk. Downtown Quakertown is within walking distance of this park where you can grab dinner, water ice or even head to the local five and dime store!
