Penn's Little Village boost Imagination and Real-Life Play

April 4, 2018

Have you been to Penn’s Little Village yet? If not, what are you waiting for?! If you have, isn’t it awesome!  Expect to stay for a while and it’s a great way to beat the heat in the summer, get out of the house in the winter or release busy energy any time of year!  **Parents/caregivers are expected to stay with their child and encourage clean up when they are done.

Kids from newborn to five, can explore, play pretend and have fun in a village just the right size for them.  Special spaces include: a service station, camper, a market, library, a firehouse and a school. Toddlers can put out the pretend fire next to the firehouse, shop for groceries at the Penny’s Market and deliver mail to a different store in dress up the postal gear!

Infants and children who are not yet walking may learn and play in a special area for them and their caregivers, the Baby Garden.  Fun and learning is a top priority here, if the crowd is too large during busy times, you will receive a pager to alert you when you can enter.

The Village is open Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. but closes for cleaning an hour before the library closes.
