Top Places that make Bucks County Awesome

Bucks County has some of the most unique and amazing places in Pennsylvania. We have eight-story playgrounds in Doylestown and Pig Farms in Jamison, and amazing amounts of history all around the county and rocks that ring in Upper Black Eddy. We live in an amazing area where we have so many great places to visit from Quakertown to Doylestown to all over Bucks County. 


Kids Castle, Doylestown

  • 425 Wells Road, Doylestown, PA 18901

Built for a King or Queen! This eight-story wooden playground will have your running, climbing, turning through the passages for hours of fun.  Tons of slings, swings surround the castle, along with a treehouse, rockets ship, treasure hunt and much more.  Behind the castle is a walking path to relax and explore nature. 

Peddler’s Village/Giggleberry Fair

  • Route 263 Lahaska, Bucks County, PA

Giggleberry Fair is the one and only three story play full of obstacles, passage and hours of fun. Giggleberry Mountain is a six level obstacles course over three levels, watch out for the when the berry blaster goes off!  Ride the indoor carousel, play in the arcade and win prize, visit the area for little ones.  Painted Pony Cafe offers a place to rest, eat and recharge

Carousel Village

  • 591 Durham Rd, Newtown, PA 18940

Carousel Village has been a hub for family fun and shopping for decades, it is not to be missed when visiting Bucks County.  Shop all day, see the animals but before you leave take a 20 minute ride on the authentic Herschell Spillman Carousel (circa 1890).  

Bucks County Children’s Museum

  • 500 Union Square Dr, New Hope, PA 18938

The museum houses 10,000 square feet of hands on fun for kids ages 1-7. Exhibits include a general store, hospital, artifact dig, water table and more! Visit their calendar at www.buckskids.org for hours, admission and special programs!

Nina’s Waffles

Nina's Waffles & Ice Cream is a small individual owned business based in Bucks County Pa. We were founded in 2010.  Nina's Waffles brings traditional Belgium Waffles to Bucks County. The Liege Waffles are made from dough and have special imported Belgian Pearl Sugar mixed within. When the dough is placed on the iron and it creates a crispy caramel coating.  Nina's also offers their homemade,small batch,handcrafted,artisanal ice cream. We currently offer over flavors. Also just recently added Edible Cookie Dough to our menu served with our Ice Cream.  We currently have 4 locations in Bucks County and opening up our 5th in Newtown PA in Late May 2018. Mercer Museum & Fonthill Castle

  • 84 South Pine Street, Doylestown, PA 18901

Known for it’s collections of ’everything’, the castle houses over 40,000 American artifacts in over 44 rooms and over 200 windows of all different sizes.  Can you guess how many bathrooms? Over 60 American Trades are represented at the museum.  Kids can explore the exhibits on the ground floor, featuring exhibits just for them.  Complete the Scavenger Hunt throughout the museum and continue the fun at home, explore the kid art area on the third floor.  

Peace Valley Lavender Park

  • 802 New Galena Rd, Doylestown, PA 18901 

A small hidden gem of Bucks County, it’s worth the day trip!  Located across from Lake Galena the Peace Valley Lavender Park is a must see for lavender and the view.  The gift shop has unique gifts and there is a great display that explains how they harvest the lavender.  Try the lavender deodorant or chocolate!

Ringing Rock

  • Ringing Rock Rd, Upper Black Eddy PA 18972

Bring a hammer or another stone and hear the ‘ring’ from the rocks while you climb and walk over rocks that glaciers left behind. Ringing Rock Park is has plenty of picnic areas and hiking to explore nature and the wilderness.  Home of the tallest waterfall in Bucks County it is a must see. 

Ross Mill Farm and Piggy Farm

  • 2464 Walton Rd, Jamison, PA 18929

This unique farm is nestled in the rolling hills of Bucks County.  Situated on 30 acres of forest and streams, it’s historic fieldstone buildings and grounds have been carefully modified to provide the perfect environment for the care of pet pigs.  Open daily from 12p-3p.  Got a pet pig? Garden of Reflection

  • 1950 Woodside Rd, Yardley, PA 19067

Created to remember and honor the ones who died on September 11, 2001. The Memorial Park commemorates the 2,973 people killed. Designed by Yardley architect Liuba Lashhyk AIA, the garden is a walking memory of that day in history.
