Meet the Doctors of afc Urgent Care
Dr. Huber received his MD degree from the State University of NY, Upstate Medical College at Syracuse, NY. He subsequently trained in internal medicine. Dr. Huber then started working in emergency medicine and became board certified in internal medicine and emergency medicine. For 20 years he also operated his own private practice in primary care medicine. In 2015 Dr. Huber was also awarded a Master of Science in Health Care Quality and Patient Safety from the Thomas Jefferson School of Population Health. Dr. Huber enjoys all aspects of primary care and finds the pace of urgent care and ability to help patients in their time of need very satisfying.
Dr. Craig Feinman graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1986 and completed a rotating Osteopathic Internship at Metropolitan Hospital in Philadelphia. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine. After his training, Dr. Feinman worked as an ER physician in various hospital ED's across the City of Philadelphia. In 1990, Dr. Feinman opened his own Family Practice while continuing to work in the ER. In 2016, after 26 years of solo practice, Dr. Feinman closed his practice to go in to Urgent Care. Dr. Feinman brings many skills to our center, including his love for and proficiency in Osteopathic Manipulation (OMT) which he integrates in the care of our injured patients, to help them heal faster and return to their pre-injured state. Dr. Feinman's extensive background in Emergency and Family medicine are a perfect fit for today's busy Urgent Care centers. In his time off, Dr. Feinman loves spending quality time with his family and 3 adult children.
Dr. Richard Smayda, a graduate of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford Maine, completed a residency in Family Medicine at Northside Hospital & Tampa Bay Heart Institute. Dr. Smayda, is a Family Practitioner incorporating the most current evidence-based technologies for prevention and optimization of balanced health. Dr. Smayda believes that each person is a unique being, having their own recipe for healing. This approach acknowledges "THE WHOLE PERSON" with a detailed comprehensive examination of total body functioning to maximize health. Dr. Smayda brings knowledge of nutrition and Osteopathic medicine as well as being fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and available to the deaf and hearing impaired community.
