Summer is going to be a bit different this year Bucks County, that goes without saying. We have already navigated school online, have had to shop in different ways, got serious with take-out, curbside options and so much more. Summer entertainment is also very much pivoting to all the changes.
My kids love going to zoos, seeing the animals, feeding the ducks and goats or giraffes are some of their favorites. We rarely miss going to a zoo in any city we are visiting on vacation. This year we are doing the same, yet from the comfort of our car. Many zoos within drive-able distance of Bucks County are turning their zoos into Drive Through Zoos to navigate through the continued social restrictions.

Lehigh Valley Drive In Zoo

The Lehigh Valley Zoo is allowing guests who have purchased tickets in advance the unique opportunity to drive through the Zoo

Ticket prices are $25/car for non-members and $10/car for members. Due to capacity restrictions, tickets are extremely limited and must be purchased in advance.
Six Flags Wild Adventure Drive Thru

Wild Safari Drive-Thru Adventure takes explorers on an interactive animal adventure through their 350-acre preserve in Jackson, New Jersey.
The journey takes nearly an hour and is done in your own vehicle!
Lake Tobias Personal Safari Tour

The Safari Tour will be replaced during the 2020 season with a personal drive-thru experience. Beginning June 5th, visitors are invited to stay in their own cars as they drive through our safari fields and meet animals from all over the world.
Price for the drive-thru will be $7/person ages 3 and up.
Virginia Safari Park

The VIRGINIA SAFARI PARK, a 180-acre drive-through zoo. The animals are free to roam! Drive your vehicle over three miles of maintained gravel road and feed the animals through your windows!

The Drive Thru Zoo will still be held Thursday mornings from 9 am – 10 am, last cars admitted 9:40 am.
$9.20 / guest ages 3 & up, with sales tax $10.00 total
On average, 20-30 minutes is required to experience the drive-thru.
