The objective of North Penn Pediatric Dental Associates is to provide children and adolescents with excellent dental care in a pleasant and safe environment.

North Penn Pediatric Dental Associates has had the privilege of providing dental and orthodontic care for the children of our community for over thirty-seven years. Founded by Dr. Richard Galeone in 1972, the pediatric dental practice moved to its present location in the North Penn Medical Arts Center in 1979. With the addition of an adjoining suite in the late eighties, orthodontics was added to the practice. This was followed by a total renovation of the office in the early nineteen nineties.

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry encourages parents and other care providers to help every child establish a Dental Home by 12 months of age. This helps to insure that your child’s oral health care is delivered in a comprehensive, continuously accessible and coordinated way. The Dental Home concept enhances our ability to assist children and their parents achieve optimum oral health care, beginning with the age one dental visit, as part of an overall health care foundation. Our doctors and staff invite you to select our practice as the dental home for your children. We are here to render caring, quality pediatric and adolescent dental care, promptly and professionally, in a pleasant and friendly environment.

Medical conditions can affect your child’s overall health, and that includes oral health. It is important that you share information about any illnesses, chronic conditions, medications, accidents or hospitalizations with us so that we may provide complete and appropriate care. If you are bringing your child for an initial visit, please take the time to print and complete the New Patient Questionnaire prior to arriving for the appointment.

If you suspect that your child has cavities, or Early Childhood Caries, we suggest that you read our web page on the subject. It will describe the possible causes of tooth decay and offer several suggestions on how to prevent or lessen future exposure to the most common of all childhood diseases.
