Summer doesn't have to be expensive in Bucks County, PA!  Check out these Free summer programs to keep you busy (and $$ in your pocket) all summer long!

Barnes and Nobles story time and Summer Reading Program

Barnes and Nobles annual Summer Reading Program at Barnes & Noble encourages kids to read eight books throughout the summer. Read all eight to get rewarded with a free book of their choice! Kids can read any eight books (whether they are their own, from the library or bought from Barnes & Noble), and then record their favorite part of their book in a Summer Reading Journal. Once they have completed the eight books and journal entries, they can take their journal to any Barnes and Noble location to receive their free book.

Kids Bowl Free

 Signing up for Kids Bowl Free gives each registered child two games of bowling all summer long FREE - all you pay is shoe rentals if you need them. You can add on a family plan, that for a small fee will allow mom, dad, older siblings or other adults to bowl with your kids all summer long.

Kids Workshops at Home Depot 

Hands-on kids love Home Depot's National kids ' program. Projects include nailing, fluent, cutting to make the themed project for your child to take home once they are done! The DIY workshops are held at Home Depot stores across the country and include a certificate of achievement, a commemorative pin and even a signature Home Depot orange apron!  Check HERE for sessions in your area.

Once Upon a Time Story Benches

Collect a star at each of the Once Upon A Nation Storytelling Benches while hearing free, three-minute stories about our nation's history!  Hear all 13 stories and earn a free ride on the Parx Liberty Carousel at Franklin Square awaits those who stop. Find all the locations HERE.

Bucks County Free Libraries Summer Program: Summer Quest Play, Learn, Explore!
